The Official Forums for V&H have been given a through update, not only in looks, but in terms of functionality and content integration as well. If you have not visited in a while, be sure to do so soon.
The new design was implemented in early January, but we decided to hold off on the announcement while the V&H staff hammered out a few minor bugs. It is now up and running with no known issues.
You can continue to use the old address to access the forums. Using the new address, below, will bring you to a new landing page which will carry the most recent game updates and features. This page can also be selected from the forum directory for those that choose to bypass it , or continue to use the old address.

The forums have been updated!
The forum update has now been rolled out to everyone. This completes the unification of the Villagers & Heroes web presence - as you can see, the forums are now a seamless part of the V&H website, with everything accessible in the same place. The forums themselves have received the following updates:
New features!
* It is now easier to create big polls and send large private messages with an increase in both poll option count and maximum PM length.
* Anyone can now see which users have read a thread.
* The editor has been updated and streamlined for a more straightforward posting experience.
* Users can enter their server and character names, which will be visible on all their posts.
New look and feel!
* The forums are now a fully integrated part of the V&H website, with all the visual improvements that implies. All aspects of the forums have been redesigned to be more readable, easier to use, and streamlining away features that aren't needed in this form of community in the first place.
* Posts by Mad Otter staff now have a brighter background and Mad Otter watermark, making it easier to spot replies by the developers.
