Ragu was strolling around the cottage and garden areas of Shrouded Glade when he heard a small sound. He had had a lot on his mind recently, with the druids resting and the rest of the party either being under the tree and/or also resting. Ragu looked behind him to see a small rabbit hopping about. Shrouded Glade had always been a refuge to harmless animals, including rabbits, even if they did occasionally get into some of the produce being grown. He knelt down and offered his hand to the rabbit, but the rabbit stood in place and turned its head back up to the academy and back. Shrugging, Ragu got back up and set his sights on some of the new gardening projects that had been started in his absence from Shrouded Glade. Suddenly, he heard another sound that was similar to the one he heard before, followed by some words. Someone (or something) said to him, "She wants you in the dining hall. You wouldn't want to be late, would you?" Ragu turned his head again and saw that the rabbit was still looking at him, but nobody else was there. Was he hearing things? Then, the rabbit hopped forward and looked up at him, and then headed back to his original spot, looking up at the dinning hall. After thinking for a moment, Ragu decided to head up to the school to find out what was up.

"Colt has sent some troubling news," she began. She ignored the curious look from Spencer and said, "I received this letter while I was... wandering around the town." After reciting it, she continued. "I don't feel safe here any longer. We have to get on with our journey and hope magic comes back in time so that I can revive Chugzy. Zia its time that you--" Suddenly everything stood still. Time halted to a near stop, and Selina was terrified. What sorcery was strong enough to grip hold of them all, to penetrate the wards of Sacred Grove? Was it the Elves? She tried in vain to brake free, reaching out with her mind to the others for support. Thats when she noticed it; their minds werent there. Nothing was, except a small stream of consciousness she felt circling around her. She timidly reached out to it, not knowing what to expect. The moment her mind made contact she was hit with a vision... There was a large fire that swayed and swooped in the air. Women all wearing white dressed danced around the fire in a chaotic dance; and they all chanted a long and melodic spell. Suddenly, the silhouette of a woman stood in front of the fire. Her shape kept shifting between two women, but the features of the ladies weren't visible. Her (or their) eyes started glowing a light gold, and the voices merged together in a dangerous whisper, which rose to a yell, and behind their voices was the whisper of an ancient spell that bound their words to fate: "Await not the Hosts of the North, their marching feet, nor the Protectors of the Land. Grieve not. Forget your woes. You will meet again regardless.
But do not rise to such a height you burn yourself to nothing: for the dark flame has been rekindled."
As the last syllable echoed through her mind, whatever spell held her in time broke and she collapsed to the floor. Breathless as Spencer helped her to her feet, she quickly got the impression she was the only one to experience the vision. She tried explaining as best as she could to the others but she was distracted by what she had seen. After a moment of collecting herself, she cleared her throat. "This is the second time I have been issued a Prophecy by another. The first was from the Oracle Chamber, and just today I was drawn to the Mountain... I am eager to venture there. I havent been there in a while, and never as Oracle. Its about time that I do." Selina saw Zia study her, questioning her silently. "Zia," Selina said, "You and Spencer are going to lead everyone to the Mesa where Zio sacrificed himself, the home of the Feathered Drakes. Ragu, will accompany me to the Misty Mountain."

Zia:
Spencer groaned, "But its-" "Your birthday, yes. You can ride in my boat with your little friends." Zia smirked at him while pulling him by his shirt to gather the Syndicate. She told everyone - save for Ragu and Selina - in the dining hall to get ready to leave. ((Axle, Kalen, and Kenna if I may recall correctly.)) She then made her way into the pavilion and looked at Axle and Alia, "Get your things ready. We're leaving now. And you're riding in my boat with us so you can eat cake and do whatever you all do for birthdays." Then Zia left Spencer there and walked to get things ready behind the school. As she walked out the Pavilion she yelled back, "I'd get out of the tent if I were you! I'm taking it down!"

"Oh snap, Axle, come on!" She jolted up, grabbing the cake and Axle. "Get your things ready." She ran to her room, packing the things she needed. "I'll meet you outside," Alia grabbed the cake and ran down the stairs.

Spencer:
Spencer's eyes got wide and he ran into his room, stuffed his backpack with some books, snacks, and other things, changed, and got out of the pavilion, standing next to Zia.

Axle
"Alright," Axle replied. He sprinted to his room and collected his stuff. It wasn't very hard to pack because he didn't have time to unpack. Axle sighed to himself. Here we go... He then made his way outside with the others.

The cake is a lie, not always, but it's usually safe to assume so.

Kalen
Kalen grabbed the few things he had with him, and went out to meet everyone outside. Praeses descended to where everyone was meeting, and landed several yards away.

I groaned, none too pleased about having to get up. I grabbed a few things and made my way outside, sitting at the base of a tree. I leaned back and folded my arms across my chest, waiting. I heard a rustle in a nearby bush and turned to see a small white rabbit. I held out my hand, and it hopped over a bit closer. "It's alright" I said in an encouraging tone. It looked up at me for a moment before hopping over on my lap. I smiled and pet my new fluffy friend.

((LOL I was expecting this to happen sooner or later, Meg.))
Zia:
"Okay, everyone's out? I hope!" She laughed as she snapped her finger and the tent folded in on itself in a vortex. "Now, get ready to leave as we wait for the rest of our band." Said Zia as she walked up the steps of her boat, followed by Spencer, who was calling for Alia, Axle, and Megara to follow.
"Fasma" Zia spoke under her breath. On the other side of the school, a specter of Colt fizzled into existence upon Zebreneva's back. She rose into the sky and led the way to Sunstone Valley. "Do not pass Zebreneva, nor go any higher than her!" She called to all of those who were able to fly that high, and her boat lurched forward and up into the air.

It had been several days since the Syndicate had left, leaving Don alone with the Queen and her various courtiers and retainers. It was nothing he wasnt used to, having lived and breathed life at court for several years before the Syndicate enlisted him. How much things have changed... The Queen and Don always got on pretty well, even after he joined the Syndicate. He attributes the basis for his success on her goodwill and the opportunities she opened up for him. But now, as their chief representative in Sanctuary, there is an atmosphere of friction between them. He has been advocating on Selina's behalf militarily, securing the deposed mages' position in the Queen's forces and their retention of Sunstrider's Reach, a vital outpost in the north. Lately Don had taken to meditating at Marie's resting place. She had scolded him in a dream he had for being so miserable and depressed; not at all the way she taught him to be. As he thought about the dream, Don sat down crisscross in his usual spot: a smooth boulder overlooking Sanctuary. He never faced, or looked, at the casket, but he would have various conversations as if Marie's body was still there, talking about his day and other idle topics. Once that was over he would reach deep into himself and meditate for long periods of time, lasting through out the night on several occasions. Once or twice he felt - or saw, he could never really figure out which - a spirit try and make contact with him, but it never amounted to much. This night however, Don took out his amulet. It had appeared on Marie's body, and he felt the urge to take it. As he ran his fingers over the brass dragon's surface, he was no longer sure if it was Zio who sent it. The dragon was of a different kind, wingless and lengthy. It caged a shard of rough jade, spiraling around it. As it caught the light Don was hit with an image of fire, the brief echo of a chant. When Don snapped back into reality the Sun had set, and he was sweating. He wiped his brow with his sleeve and walked back down to the palace, unaware that the pendant had found its way around his neck.

Kenna:
Kenna caught up to the others as they were already leaving. "I'll meet you all there!" She called as she ran past Zia's boat. Zia called after her, but she wouldn't listen. A stag ran next to her until the stone turned to sand, and the sun shone upon her face.
