Hello, Venturing Gamers!
I love the theme of this site! I LOVE adventure! Jumping on the bandwagon with you guys seems like it'd be fun!
I play all sorts of PC games, but I have a list from top to bottom of the games I usually play the most. xD Here:
-Guild Wars 2 (Created a guild through the community I'm forming called The Kind Gamers or TKG)
-Gauntlet (It's a co-op game on Steampowered)
-Minecraft (I fund a server for TKG)
-Battlefield 3 (TKG has a platoon. hehe)
-Battlefield 4 (Same as BF3 ;D)
-Dragon Age Inquisition (I want to get into this game more, but GW2 is too addicting at the moment. xD)
-Others... Lots of others... (It's early in the morning, so I can't remember it all lol)
Bit of Adventure History:
I grew up playing Pokemon on da Gameboy. My cousins let me and my older sister try games at their house because we weren't allow to own any electronics at the time. I fell in love with the Pokemon game once I put my hands on the Gameboy and started up Pokemon Red. I've always been a Nintendo fan. I bought a Gamecube as my first console and then a Wii. I was a huge Super Smash Bros. fan. I was super aggressive whenever I played Smash at my cousin's house. Unfortunately, I got a bit bored of Nintendo stuff and wanted to try something new. PC gaming! I fell in love with a game called Warcraft 2 and Startcraft when I first saw it being played by my other cousin at his house. It seemed like a pretty simple concept, but the AI/Computer side always beat me. I'm not the best strategist, but playing that game helped prepare me for the next RTS games I got my hands on. Some include Warcraft 3, Age of Empires 1+2, and Globulation (A free to play RTS game). I never entered any competitions, but I've always loved to play against friends and family. As soon as I got a computer of my own, Warcraft 3 was the first thing I installed. I became a very internet social person by joining a bunch of different forums and free to play games. I met many cool different people from all over the world like Canada, Mexico, Australia, England, and many states in the US. I started a Youtube channel in 2008, but it was just a personal watching channel. I started uploading videos using my online persona (bugbite250) starting around June 2012. I played Minecraft, and wanted people to see my reactions to playing survival. I gained a lot of support from people. My goal for Youtube is just to make people smile. If I can make at least 1 person smile, I'm happy. In the late summer of 2012, I built a group called The Kind Gamers. I wanted to form a little group where my friends and I could just hang out, have fun and create content for Youtube as an interesting group. It didn't work as planned, so we were never really ready to be any public gaming group on Youtube. In January of 2013, I built my own computer for college with parts I bought piece by piece online! It took me 5 long hours. The hardest part was for me to install the CPU. It took me like 30 minutes to finally figure out that I wasn't putting enough force on the CPU cooler to latch it in place... You can ask me for the specifications as a reply. 2013 was a pretty strange year for me. Starting up college was different, so I had to change things up. I decided to take a break from YouTube at the end of summer 2013 since I wasn't even happy with where it was going. I grew to over 600 subscribers, but I wanted to be more than just a standard let's player. I wanted to pop out somehow... I'm still on a break, but I'm slowly figuring out what I want for myself. Since TKG was dying as a group, I wanted to change it into a community for all gamers of all kinds, so that's what I'm working towards these days. Anyway, that is actually just a bit of my history and bio. lol Ask me questions if you want.
